O.W.L.’s GroundAware® family of 2D and 3D digital multi-beamforming surveillance radar products are used to protect land and water perimeters, sensitive/limited-access areas, ingress/egress locations, and low-altitude airspace at critical infrastructure sites. GroundAware systems are deployed at some 400 critical infrastructure and government sites worldwide where they help provide long-range, all-weather situational awareness and real-time information needed by security stakeholders to observe, assess, log, deter, and otherwise respond to security threats as quickly and efficiently as possible.

GA1360 2D Radar for 360˚ situational awareness for critical infrastructure perimeter protection. Real-time detection, tracking, classification, and response to intruders within 1 km range of critical sites – that’s 750 acres covered by single sensor.

GA3360 3D Radar for short-range, 360° detection, tracking and classification of manned aircraft and drones at an affordable price point. Available for an array of applications GA7360 3D detects Phantom 4 drones at 1.5 km range, vehicles at 3 km range, and humans at 2 km.

Precision Tracker
O.W.L.’s Precision Tracker is a new micro-Doppler radar system that is designed to be integrated with long-range 3D surveillance radars (optimized for O.W.L. radars but also available for integration with other manufacturers’ radar systems). When a low-altitude airspace target (maybe a drone, perhaps a bird) has been detected and tracked by surveillance radar at long range, Precision Tracker’s powerful micro-Doppler capability enables the system to verify that the target is or is not a drone at 2 km+ range. Precision Tracker also enables ongoing tracking of near-stationary drones in hover mode.
